Visual Narratives: Ukraine’s War through Photography and Film – Fundraiser

Join us on July 29th at SFU GoldCorp Centre of the Arts to honor the untold stories and to reflect on the power of art in the face of turmoil.

We extend a special invitation to witness the power and resilience of the human spirit through the lenses of Ukrainian photographer Yevgenii Maloletka and film producer Pavlo Peleshok.

4pm – 9 pm Photo Exhibition “Seige of Mariupol”

Join us for an extraordinary photo exhibition capturing the haunting reality and indomitable courage during the Siege of Mariupol. These gripping war pictures provide a glimpse into the lives affected by conflict, highlighting the strength and determination of the people amidst adversity.

5:30 pm – 8:30 pm Screening of the documentary film “Life To The Limit”

In addition to the exhibition, we will screen the highly acclaimed film “Life to the Limit” from the producers of the Oscar-nominated “Winter on Fire.” This cinematic masterpiece further explores the depths of human resilience and the pursuit of hope against all odds.

4:45-5:30 PM – Q&A session with the photographer Evgeniy Maloletka (zoom)

5:30 PM – Film presentation by Pavlo Peleshok

5:45-7:15 PM – Screening of “Life To The Limit” documentary film

7:30- 8:00 PM – In-person Q&A session with the producer of the film Pavlo Peleshok

9PM – End of exhibition
