Join our fundraiser this Sunday, April 2nd, in Lonsdale Quay!

Our team of talented Ukrainian artists would be happy to host you during our Sunday Fundraiser!

We have prepared 2 workshops for our guests:

1. Pysanky egg making – authentic Ukrainian egg painting with the use of beeswax and various colors that creates unique bright and fiery designs. Our talented artist Victoria will guide you through the steps of making your very own gorgeous pysanka that will last you for years to come.

2. Ukrainian Wheat Field Canvas Painting – yellow and blue are the colors of the Ukrainian flag – with yellow representing the wheat fields and blue representing the clear sky. Our talented artist Daryna, who painted this gorgeous painting, will walk you through the steps of working with acrylic paint on canvas and teach you the basics of using paint knives to create a 3D effect on canvas.

LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE

Whether you are a professional artist or haven’t picked up a paintbrush since school, absolutely no experience in painting. Just come prepared to have fun and to experiment.

CAUSE:

Ukraine Harmony Foundation is a Vancouver-based nonprofit organization. Proceeds from our fundraisers in March and April would be used to support our project “Veteranka” which was created to support the Ukrainian Women’s Veterans Movement.

We kindly thank Starbucks for donating the space for the fundraiser.
