Ukraine Harmony Foundation and United Way BC invite you to the Ukrainian Cultural Festival “Colours of Ukraine”. Anyone interested in Ukrainian culture would be able to attend the event. It’s a fantastic way to spend your Sunday afternoon for anyone interested in learning more about Ukrainian culture and tasting some authentic delicious Ukrainian food!
We would have multiple activities as a part of the event. No experience is necessary and you will be provided with all the tools and materials.
Free workshops on the following would be offered during the event:
1. Motanka dolls
2. Petrykivka painting
3. Birds of peace (kids workshop)
4. Ukrainian embroidery for beginners
5. Canvas painting for beginners
6. Vynok (flower headband) making workshops would be offered during the event.
There would be a large map of Ukraine with sticky notes on which attendees would be able to write cheering messages to the people of Ukraine.
Additionally we will have a Ukrainian Photowall set where attendees would be able to take pictures with friends and family with Ukrainian props.
Traditional food and refreshments would also be offered during the event.
Some live performances by Ukrainian singers and musicians will take place throughout the day as well.

Admission is free, however, we ask you to preregister for the workshops of your choosing in advance. On the day of the event, workshops would be offered on a first come first serve basis for those that didnt preregister for the event.
